When it comes to weapons, we believe in practicality. When learning, we were not taught weapons due to the fact that your just not very likely to have one on you when you are attacked. Due to high interest, we decided to implement them in. But we try to use more practical weapons, so that it is useful to know.
We are still fairly new to this field and will add more weapons in later, all our weapon programs are only available to green belt and above levels. The reason for this is that we here at RASDAK do not believe that letting people who do not know how to use their hands, use a weapon is a good idea. This way there is less chance of injury.
Currently we offer both Bo Staff, and Cane. The forms we use for instruction are the Compulsory Wushu Staff form, and The White Lotus Cane Form. We, also, have an entire curriculum based on the cane that was created by a co-student of Kyle named Deon Moser. Deon was inducted into the Martial Arts Hall of Fame for his creation of this style. Soon we hope to add spear and some other weaponry.
